Akkarakkalam Memoirs was handed over to its present 4th generation by a far-sighted visionary Jobin Akkarakkalam. An exotic farmhouse presented as an excellent souvenir of the ancient Akkarakkalam family in Alleppey district with a tradition of 150 years. Lodged in the ideal settings of a rustic background, It is an ancient two-storied house constructed with wood and bricks and is still maintained in memory of the golden era of this Ancient Syrian Christian family. It is now proudly presented to the world as an icon of age-old tradition and trust.

Akkarakkalm Memoirs is a sprawling 10 acre land with natural flora and fauna, beautifully converted into an ideal destination for the nature lover as well as for the common globe-trotter. Akkarakkalam Memoirs is in the Kainakary village in Alleppey district. It is peerless in its structural stature and colossal grandeur. It stands the test of time and has every characteristic it portrayed 150 years back.

The old cellar for rice called “Ara” and the housing rooms have the same old charm and purity. Everything about Akkarakkalam Memoirs has the fragrance of old times.

There are a total number of 8 rooms in the hotel. Out of the 8 hotel rooms, there are 6 heritage rooms and 2 Kerala cottages. All the hotel rooms maintain the same old charm and purity.
